Almotti Cookies and more... was born from the oven of a 3rd generation Sicilian baker. We specialize in gluten free handcrafted southern Italian, gourmet delicacies, among them are our artisan cookies, cakes and breads. We pride ourselves in quality, craftsmanship and the use of the best ingredients. Because of this belief we bake our products in small batches to preserve quality and our ingredients are all natural, we will never use hydrogenated fats or anything artificial / chemically created. Among our most used ingredients you will find, gluten free certified 100% almond meal, coconut, gluten free flour blend (which is gluten free and kosher certified) and 100% cocoa.
Here a brief descriptions of some and their benefits:
Almonds: Contain a healthy boost of protein and are a “good” monounsaturated fat. Almonds are also low in sugars and provide a good amount of magnesium and vitamin E.
Coconuts: High in fiber, protein, and healthy fats and are free from wheat and other grains. They are also low in sugar, digestible carbohydrates and calories, and have a low score on the glycemic index.
Natural unsweetened cocoa: A low in calorie natural antioxidant that contains the daily recommended intake of iron, manganese, magnesium and zinc.
In addition we feel an obligation to contribute to protect our environment because of this all of our products are packaged using recyclable or made with Eco-friendly materials, like compostable, post-consumer and biodegradable.
